Thanks to the Securinet Toolbar, you'll be able to use Internet Explorer in security. It's going to become the essential tool for you when you navigate on the Internet. The Securinet Toolbar avoids installing another navigator and is perfectly integrated on Internet Explorer. The Securinet Toolbar associate with the site Securinet enables you to navigate in the best conditions, while offering a high level of services. Discrete and effective, it will enable you to navigate in full safety on the Web. It's composed of a bar of research and an admin part.
To get the Securinet Toolbar, connect you on the site www.securinet.fr and click on download.
Once you've downloaded the Securinet Toolbar, you'll be able to install it easily on your computer. To do this, nothing smplier, click twice on the file securinet setup and follow the instructions.

Your toolbar is installed, you can now configure it as you want. To do this, launch Securinet from your computer, a page of your navigator must appear and the Securinet icon must be visible on the bottom right of your screen.

The Securinet research bar

It looks like this :

By clicking on Securinet, you can reach the Securinet home page and also some links which are on the site such as forums.
By clicking on web search, you'll be able to make researches on all referenced sites in the directory of securinet. You can contrast the research words by clicking on contrast.

The Securinet administration

You can access to the admin part of Securinet in many ways :

• by clicking on the admin button of the research bar
• by clicking twice on the Securinet logo on the bottom right of your screen
• while pressing on SHIFT * (when the system keys are inactive)

To have more safety, before opening the admin part, Securinet asks you to enter a password. The default password is securinet, we advse you to change it as of your first configuration of Securinet.

The admin part of Securinet is composed of a window of six mitres on which you can click to personalize your navigator :

general, security, system IE, restrictions IE, design IE, local list

General

In this mitre, you'll be able to change all that is related to your navigation in general.

You could change the administrator password and choose if you want to access to the update of the toolbar. We advise you to choose a new password as of your first connection to Securinet.
You can also choose a configuration for your navigator :

• personalized mode : it depends on the selected configuration parameters
  By choosing this mode, it's you who will decide of your configuration. More particularly, you will be able to choose all that is related to the safety of the system and the restrictions of Internet Explorer.
• terminal mode : it doesn't enable you the access to the system, nor the closing of the navigator. All the sites are controlled.
  With this mod, you won't access to your system nor close your navigator while Secutinet is open. All the sites you visit wille be controlled.
• open mode : it enables the access to the system and the closing of the navigator. The sies arre controlled.
  This mode makes only possible to control the sites on which you will go. It enables the closing of the navigator and the acces to the sytem while you navigate.
• not controlled mode : it enables the access to the system and the closing of the navigator. The sites are not controlled.
  This mode does not control anything, i.e. it does not control the sites on which you go but it does not control either the access to the system and the closing of the navigator.
  
  

  Security

In this mitre, you will be able to control the sites on which you go as well as the safety of your system

If you want your sites to be controlled via the Securinet server, you'll choose the type of control. When you choose to use the black list, you'll be able go on all the sites you want except on those registered in this black list. On the contrary, when you choose to use the white list, you can only sail on the sites registered in this list.
Choose to activate the control of the sites locally and you'll have only access to the sites which you'll have beforehand declared in your list of the authorized sites.
If you choose at the same time the control of the sites locally and via the securinet server, it's the local list which will take precedence over the securinet list.
To activate the control of the system, you must notch the box "Activate the control of the system" then notch the options you want. If notch the option "desactivate the system keys (CTRL+ALT+DEL, etc)", you can access to the configuration of your navigator by pressing the keys SHIFT*.

System IE

In this mitre, you will be able to choose your repertories of control.

Restrictions IE

In this mitre, you'll be able to activate or unactivate the restrictions which you want to bring on Internet Explorer.

The option "remove the file menu" will remove the file menu of your navigator. If you notch this option, it won't be necessary to notch the options "decontaminate the option to file/open, file/new or file/Save as" since they depend on the file menu...

Design IE

In this mitre, you can choose the design of your navigator : put images, animations, melts of screen...
You can also choose a page of starting, a page of research as well as a not found page.

The animation or image you choose will appear on the right top of your screen. The page of starting is the page which will appear when you launch Internet Explorer. The not found page will appear when your navigator won't find the page you've asked him. The research page is the page which will appear to do your researches.

Local list

In this mitre, you can manage your list of authorized and non authorized sites. You can define a way to access to this list by writing it in "Directory of the local list". To add or remove sites to your list, cick on "manage the list of authorized local sites.." and follow the onstructions.
